Polyunsaturated fat is often similar to monounsaturated fat.Polyunsaturated fat is abundant in plant foods.There are two types of polyunsaturated fats.One is omega 6 and the other is omega 3. Foods like soyabeans and corn contain omega  6. Omega 3 is abundant in fish like salmon,...,herring.



When this  fat is taken  in normal amounts,it helps to maintain blood suger and cholesterol levels an required.This type of fat is  not produced naturally  in the body.Therefore you should eat foods containing polyunsaturated  fat.Doctors say omega 3 is a heart -helthy fat and prevents diseases like Alzheimer,cancer and immune disorders.Therefore ,you should eat with understanding about the types of fats.
